List of Chapter Committees
The Member Engagement Committee directs and develops Chapter education and social programs outside of our signature annual events. These strategic visionaries monitor progress, marketing, and promotion of Chapter events, ensuring we align with our strategic growth plan.
The Remodeler of the Year (ROTY) Awards Committee oversees and facilitates the marketing, submission, review, and judging of the ROTY award applications. This Committee also oversees the formal attire, high-octane Awards Annual Gala to present our chapter ROTY awards and President’s awards.
The ROTY Awards Judges are an integral part of the annual awards effort, virtually reviewing and scoring ROTY submissions from other NARI chapters. With a short, typically one-week commitment, judges review and score entries via an online portal and get a sneak-peek into the amazing work being done by fellow remodeling pros nationwide!
The Summer Social Committee oversees and facilitates our annual Summer Social event/meeting. The Summer Social is a relaxing evening of fun and networking, celebrating Chicago in the summertime.
The Design Night Committee oversees and facilitates our Design Night event. This event focuses solely on the design-side of the remodeling industry. Industry professionals can promote their brands, participate in roundtables discussions, educate about best practices in design, and network with their peers.
The Education Committee oversees our annual education-focused program and advises on industry topics and trends to incorporate into events. Educational events offer innovative insights from top-notch speakers, industry experts, and peer-to-peer learning. Attendees connect with each other and learn about the newest remodeling industry products, materials, technology, and/or services.
The Annual Meeting Committee oversees and facilitates the Annual Meeting, typically held in November. With the incoming President chairing the committee, this meeting is our only members-only event with our top speaker for the year, leadership elections, and updates on the strategic vision for the Chapter.
The Workforce Development Committee fosters education, mentorship, industry awareness, and networking to promote remodeling. The Committee helps to identify and engage with key stakeholders and partners in the remodeling industry to strengthen the future workforce of our profession.
