The early days of the pandemic saw homeowners spending unexpected amounts of time at home and, therefore, reevaluating areas of improvement needing to be done. This, plus low interest rates, drove a significant boom for remodelers taking on new business and projects – having almost too much work being a good problem to have.
Now, with a production crisis of increasing lead times and rising materials costs, there is a new challenge to tackle – executing projects with longer timelines and higher costs, elements that are out of the remodeler’s hands.
